This film is about a man who is having a tough life after losing his wife and now his daughter has been attacked.
He has been through a year long trial with the man who attacked his daughter that ended with the perp going free because of a technicality.
Now he is trying to regain his life and going to spend the day with his friends while they are having a Yard Sale.
After an accident at the yard sale the man is thrown into moral turmoil after he receives a metaphysical gift . The power to see the history and future of items at the yard sale. One of these items may have the power to wreak revenge on his daughter's attacker. What will he do with this power?

My name is Darren Radeff and I have worked for Universal Studios Hollywood for over 37 years.
In 2020 when the world went into lockdown, I was out of work and home alone.
I came across a box of stuff my mother had sent me before her passing years ago.
In the box was a copy of a script I had written in 2001. It was called "The Yard Sale."
With time on my hands I began editing, writing and rewriting the script. Next I would gather actor friends in zoom calls and have them table read.
At a home gathering, after lock down, I had another reading with friends. Then another in a rented room in a studio. I finally felt the script was ready to be filmed.
After doing many jobs in the industry I wanted to produce and direct my own first short film. I wanted to work on the other side of the camera using my own original piece, " The Yard Sale."
When it comes to money, I am not a rich man. So after finding out that a short film like mine would cost 45,000-60,000 dollars, I felt that my dream might be impossible.
However, I am a hard worker and knew I had a lot of friends and acquaintances. I figured if I just asked 4500 people for ten dollars, I would reach the low end of my goal and could start producing. Easy ..Right? Ah ..No!
People would ask my, "Why so much?" Well, I have to pay for Cast, Crew, Lighting, Location, Food, and Equipment for four days of filming.
I was a craft services person on movie sets as well as a PA, Casting Director and an Actor so I do know what it takes to make a good film and I've got one shot at this.
I also want this to be an awesome experience for everyone; Cast, Crew, Donators and of course, myself.
In my life I love giving experiences to people that they would not normally have had if it hadn't been for one of my crazy ideas and dreams.
With this in mind, I started to raise money to produce this film/dream with the idea that everyone who donates will be invited to a premiere viewing of the film, complete with popcorn and drinks and a Q & A after the movie!
If you donate 50 dollars or more and you give me an address and a size (M,L,XL,XXL,XXXL), while supplies last, I can send you a t-shirt with the fun movie logo.
You can follow me on instagram @theyardsalemovie.
Don't forget if you donate and give me your email you will be put on our email list for the premiere.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

God bless this film and all its supporters!
For years, this story has lived in my heart.
After my mother passed away, I discovered a box she had sent me long ago, and inside was a script I had written in 2001—a reminder of a dream I now wanted to finish.
Since then, I’ve gathered actor friends for table reads over Zoom, in living rooms, and in studio spaces, watching this story slowly come alive with every performance and every shared moment.
After spending years working countless jobs in the film industry, helping bring other people’s visions to life, I’m finally ready to step behind the camera and direct my own original short film.
The biggest obstacle has always been funding, but I truly believe this dream is possible with the support of people who believe in storytelling, passion, and perseverance.
Raising the money for this film would mean more than just making a movie—it would mean turning a lifelong dream into reality, honoring the journey that brought me here, and creating an unforgettable experience for the cast, crew, supporters, and everyone who helps make this vision come to life.
Every dollar moves this dream forward. Help bring The Yard Sale Movie to life by contributing to our independent production fund.
October of 2021, I began making videos on Facebook and Instagram @Theyardsalemovie, begging and pleading my friends and family and anyone I could find to donate just 10 dollars.
Some people stepped up and donated right away while other said I would never raise that kind of money.
After 4 years, with the help of family friends and people that just thought it was awesome I have raised a little over $30,000.
In order to raise money, I have had an actual yard sale at my house and in Laughlin, I had a "Name the Mannequin" contest, I even designed and made t-shirts for big donors.
Well, I have hit a wall, run out of steam, exhausted my friends and myself and didn't know what to do!
I made a video telling everyone that I was out of ideas and if they had any let me know.
Well I had a response from someone who was a new friend and told me to do a Go Fund Me. I was hesitant because I feel like there are others on gofundme who need the money more than me.
This is just a life dream for me but I asked for an idea and god sent me this new friend and a new idea so here it goes.....!
If you have read this far, I just want to say thank you and if you can donate to this dream, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you!
If you donate and want to read the script, leave me an email address because I have been sending out to all my donors a page of the script each time I reach 2000 dollars more in donations.
That is 15 pages already!
